Community
Surveyors helping surveyors
We are building an international community of offshore surveyors, from the first lesson to the first project and beyond. Training is the way in; the people are the point.
What we believe
Learn together
A shared curriculum, a shared vocabulary and graduates who can explain things to each other.
Share the work
Openings come to the community first, and members tell each other about crews, vessels and projects.
Be a reference
The Tidehunter name should mean good training and good people. Certificates carry a public verification code.
Roadmap
- Today. The 120-hour training, the free demo lessons, direct openings from employers and job alerts.
- Next. A member directory with opt-in profiles, mentoring between graduates and seniors, study groups.
- Then. Tidehunter Crew: a vetted pool of freelance professionals for projects. We are building towards it and will announce it when it is real.
Join the community
Students, graduates, seniors and companies are all welcome. We email only when something useful happens.
